Shipping & Delivery Policy:

International orders are shipped via major courier companies FEDEX, UPS, DHL, USPS or CANADA POST.  In most cases orders are dispatched within 24 – 48 hours.  Aalayaa, is by no means responsible for any delay in delivery by the courier company and only guarantees to hand over the shipment to the courier company within 3 working days from the date of the order and payment or as per the delivery date agreed upon at the time of order confirmation. Timing on custom orders will be determined at the time order is placed.


We’ve gone global!

Deliveries are made during normal work days and hours. No deliveries are made on weekends, festivals or holidays.  Courier company working hours vary from country to country.  It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure someone is available to receive and inspect shipment.  This will ensure no disputes arise later. Aalayaa is in no way liable for delays caused by the courier company.

How is the delivery charge calculated for multiple products?

The shipping charge is based on the quantity of the products and Flat Shipping Charges are applied worldwide.  This will automatically be added to the product cost at the payment stage.

Address change requests:

Address change requests can only be done within a short span of time following placing the order.  You may send your alteration request to aalayaaonline@gmail.comThis email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . . .  As long as the order has not been dispatched, we can go ahead and do the change in address, but once the order has dispatched, no alterations can be made.

VAT & Custom Duties:

Taxes and customs/import duties are not assessed by Aalayaa.  These amounts cannot be predetermined and are the sole responsibility of the customers placing the order.  These amounts vary from country to country.

Billing Address and Shipping Address:

Billing Address is the address where a customer gets his bills from the credit card company.  Shipping address is the address where the customer wants to receive the shipment.  Delivery will be made to the Shipping address only.

Can my billing and Shipping address be different?

Of course, it can be different.  Thus you may place the order from one part of Globe and get it delivered in other part altogether.  This becomes really handy when you want to send gifts to your love ones.

How do I track my shipment?

As soon as your package is shipped, we shall mail you the tracking details of the shipment via email.  It may take about 24 hours for the shipment status to get updated.  You can use the shipment tracking number on our courier partner’s website.

Does my shipment hold any risk while transit?

The customer will bear no cost to damage while transit of the shipment.  But if the package is damaged, stolen or lost after it has been delivered at the address specified by the customer, then Aalayaa doesn’t not hold any responsibility for the same.


The time slots mentioned in the shipment category are excluding the time required for delivery.  Only the time required for dispatching the product from our warehouse is mentioned.  At Aalayaa, we try our level best to deliver the product as soon as possible to our esteemed customer.  So we would try to deliver you the products in lesser time than that mentioned in the shipment category.  Courier delivery could be late under certain circumstances.

Returns Policy:

We, at Aalayaa, make it our first priority to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with our products and Aalayaa aims at maintaining high standards in terms of quality.  This combined effort has facilitated minimum number of products being exchanged.  Nevertheless, we do understand that there are unanticipated circumstances where customers come across products damaged during shipment or products with manufacturing defects.  In these circumstances, we will gladly exchange the product for a product of equal value within 14 days of sale as long as original sales receipt submitted.  Products cannot be returned and can only be exchanged under these circumstances.

Cancellation Policy:

Aalayaa usually dispatches products within 12-24 hour working hours.  Hence Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 12 hours of placing an order or before the product is dispatched, whichever is earlier.  Once the order is dispatched, then cancellation cannot be accepted.

Refund Policy:

Aalayaa has put in place no-hassle procedures to ensure that you can buy from us in confidence and return the item if the item is faulty or not what you had ordered.  In case you are dissatisfied with the product received from Aalayaa, you may contact us with your complaints/feedback at AalayaaOnline@gmail.com.

In case the product is received in damaged condition or the wrong item is received:

We have stringent measures in place to ensure that the items delivered to you are in perfect condition.  However, there is always a remote possibility that the item could be damaged during transit.  The outer packing of the product is partially open, damaged or tampered with, or that a wrong item is delivered to you.  Immediately, mail details of condition of the package, signs of tampering and other details that is visible to you, to AalayaaOnline@gmail.com.  Before accepting the package from the courier agency and they will shortly revert back to you.

In case of any discrepancy, you may refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable and sufficient remarks on the proof of delivery.  Customer should also lodge a proper complaint with the local office of the courier agency, so that Aalayaa could take up the matter with them to prevent such occurrences in future.

In such cases where your ordered item is damaged during transit or the wrong item is delivered to you, we will replace the item at no extra cost, provided that the request for replacement/return of item is made by you within 24 hours from the receipt of the package.

Before returning any product, always contact Aalayaa at AalayaaOnline@gmail.com  within 24 hours of receipt of such product.  Our team will get in touch with you at the earliest.  The email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the single order/package delivery.  Please note that Aalayaa shall examine the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of the customer’s emails.

After validating your return request over phone or via email, we will send you an email authorizing a return.  The mail will have an attachment containing the return shipping address label.  You may simply print, fill with accurate information, paste the shipping address label on the package and courier it back to us.  Please bear in mind that we should receive the return package within 10 days (in case of Domestic Clients) or 15 days (in case of international clients) of our sending the authorizing email.

In case any product is returned without such confirmation, Aalayaa does not guarantee any credit or replacement of the product.

Kindly retain all packaging materials and the product until receipt of instructions from Aalayaa regarding the same.  Post- receipt of the return package, we will proceed to inspect the same.  Once approved as an eligible return, we will issue your refund or merchandise credit in the appropriate amount.  If however the return is not found eligible for refund, we will courier the same back to you.  In either scenario, the issue of return will be closed within 10 days of our receiving of the return package from you.

Refunds in case of damaged/wrong products are made as follows:

If the payment was made in cash then the refund is made in the form of a cheque.

If the payment is made using a credit/debit card (or any form of net banking) then the amount is credited back to the same account from which the payment was made.


All shipping costs of returning the defective products back to us in India/USA/Canada, over and above such amount paid towards shipping charges while receiving the same from India are to be borne by the customer entirely.

Refunds in case of dissatisfaction from the product are made as follows:

When a refund is to be made due to dissatisfaction at the customer’s end, then the amount is refunded in the form of store credits.  In case of any complaints, email Aalayaa at AalayaaOnline@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Please Note:

Aalayaa will make refund cheques only in the registered name of the customer.

Notwithstanding the above, Aalayaa is under no obligation to accept any returns or provide any replacements or exchange or give store credit.  Aalayaa shall have the sole discretion to assess each case on its own, separately.

Partial Refunds:

In case of multiple products being ordered, if for any reason whatsoever, Aalayaa is unable to deliver certain products, the customer shall be allowed to select an alternate product.  However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, Aalayaa shall agree to refund amount as against such non-deliverable products.


The details of the products or product specifications (weight, colour, handwork details, size, etc.) as shown on the website of Aalayaa are only approximate and may differ from the actual product due to a variety of reasons beyond our control.

AalayaaOnline.com firmly believes that all the customers who order online are aware that the colours seen on the monitor can be slightly different as compared to the colour of the actual product due to variation of colour settings and capabilities of computer monitors, or other computer related differences/limitations of the computer system.
